Karl and I decided to go to Brighton as there was a showroom full of hobs, ovens, etc. (and it was the nearest one to us that had a Panasonic Hob).
We got the Park & Ride in and then after walking in the wrong direction and doubling back, we found the store and spent about half an hour there. It was very helpful - we decided not to get the super expensive hob.
After that we had the day to ourselves so we walked aimlessly about, went to the Como Brasserie in Market Street. I had their own brand Brasserie Como beer (very light and refreshing) and Karl had some Belgian fruity beer (possibly Brugse Zot). Dinner was... I had a pizza with Gorgonzola on it and Karl had a Croque Monsieur. Very nice.
After that we wondered to the beach front and looked at all the old fisherman arches which are now gift shops and art galleries. Found some nice prints by an artist called Zorian which we bought and will hopefully hang in the new kitchen.
Walked about the seafront a bit more, remarked on how the old pier is about to be washed away by the sea.
